Sick of Your iPhone? Samsung is Giving Away Free Galaxy S Phones

Jul 28, 2010 No Comments by Jeff H.

Samsung is sending troubled iPhone users free Galaxy S handsets.  The Twitter account from Samsung UK has legitimately sent real handsets!  How big a PR stunt is this for a tiny, tiny cost?!  It’s really genius.  We expect the little guys to use these tactics, which is why you will never see Apple give this type of love to lure consumers.  Samsung, however, is not a little guy.  They are a very large company that has welcomed the Android revolution and embraced it.  They are in it for the long haul and they are proving it.

The Galaxy S line, and soon the Galaxy Q will be on everybody’s list this year.  The features are very competitive, and with customer service like this, who wouldn’t want to be a customer of Samsung?  The Galaxy S runs Android 2.1 and has a pretty nice sized 4-inch screen.

CNN has confirmed this as well.
