Now that the Droid Incredible is finally been released we have finally gotten a chance to see what Verizon will offer in the form of cases and Droid Incredible Accessories. Verizon’s website has recently been updated with a Droid Incredible Accessory page so now you can protect Verizon’s finest Android Smartphone in style.
After taking a look at their accessory line-up we were slightly disappointed that Verizon was not offering any car or home docking solutions like we saw Google do with the Nexus One, so far it seems that they are mainly focused on cases and screen protection (this is also how they treated the Moto Droid in the early days but did later begin selling all accessories so don’t get to sad just yet). Below we have posted most of the options we have seen available at this time but if you have seen others please post them in the comment section below.
Besides the cases Verizon did also offer their classic over priced screen protector packs as well in their stores. A pack of 3 pieces of cut light plastic (screen protectors), a piece of half inch hard plastic (mini spreading tool), and a piece of 2 inch felt (mini screen cleaning clothe) will run you a hefty $12.99 if you would like to semi protect you Droid Incredible’s screen. We suggest you pass on the screen protector and spring for one of Zagg’s InvisibleShields for your Droid Incredible which will only run you a few extra bucks and will ensure your phone never gets scratched or even bitten ear-style by Mike Tyson (ok the InvisibleShield does not guarantee stopping a “Mike Bite” in their fine print but I would take the chance with it).
Another item that many of our readers wanted to see at Verizon was the official car docking station this was not the case but we did find the item on another site (droiddog.com). When we find out where the Droid Incredible Docking Station will be available we post it so be sure and check back frequently for updates.
